Update 6

   1.      Which items had the largest headlines?  Why?
The ones that have the greatest consequence and are most recent. These are biggest because the most people care about that story.
   2.     Which items had the smallest headlines?  Why?
Stories of least importance. They don't mean a lot to many people.

   3.     Which stories had photos?  Why?

   4.     Consider the placement of the articles.  Does the position of a story (above or below the fold) affect the reader’s response to it?  Why?
Yes depending on where the story is determines how important it looks to the reader.

   5.     What other information does the front page include in addition to major news reports?  How does this extra information affect the reader’s attention?                   It also includes features for all the other pages in the paper which helps the reader know what else is in the paper.

 6.     How many stories are on the front page?    115

7.       How many stories are local? 6          National?    8    International? 8

   8.     What do you find appealing about this front page?  What would you like to change?
I                          I enjoy the headlines and photos of the interesting stories on the front page. I would change the way the features for the other stories kind of distract you from the major news stories.
