Football update
The football team at Dartmouth University does things a little different when it comes to football practice. The game of football which is meant to be played physical often comes with many injuries in practice as the only way to prepare for the contact is to engage in it. This is where the twist comes in with Dartmouth University. Their coach, Buddy Teevens, got rid of the hitting aspect in practice. Instead of the players tackling each other they now tackle MVP. A robot who can withstand hits from the players and provides a safe way for them to practice proper tackling. This article was really cool and could be very revolutionary in football as the problems with concussions continue to rise.
